Clothing Line

One of my cheerful students asked me if I had a clothing line the other day. Here's how the conversation went...

Student: Ms. Skeen, do you have a line of clothing?
Me: (thinking where in the world did this come from?) Let's talk about that later. Please stay on topic.
Student: No, Ms. Skeen, I really need to know if you have your own clothing brand! There's a clothing company called Ms. Skeen!
Me: Okay, let's stay on topic. Don't be rediculous.
Student: (with increasing anxiety and passion) No, really I have a shirt that says Ms.Skeen on it! I'll wear it and show it to you! It's really cool.
Me: (giving in finally... it was my only chance to get this student back on track--- he's so funny, but I've learned my lesson in the past)... Okay, how's it spelt?
Student: (relieved and breathing normally now) I think it's something like M-I-S-C-K-E-E-N
Me: (moving to my computer, I google search it)
Student: (Walks over to look at the results) There it is! So it's spelt M-I-S-K-E-E-N, just like you're name!
Me: (Clicking on the website, laughing inside) Wow. MiSkeen Originals. That's awesome!
Student: Ms. Skeen, you have you're own clothing line! See- I told you (smile on his face, he walks back, sits down, and gets back on task.

One happy student- it made my day and his. :)
Needless to say, he proudly made a point to wear his Miskeen shirt to school today so I could take a picture of him and he could show it to his classmates.
Ironically it's a "gangsta' " type brand, so my kids think it's pretty cool. What can I say? It's hip to where shirts made by "MiSkeen"!

I think I might need to look into this clothing line...
